Agapé Events and Wendy & Friends come together to provide full Kennewick, WA (May 28, 2009) The announcement was released today that two local event businesses, Agapé Events and Wendy & Friends, have come together in a new location. Agapé Events provides professional event management and catering services while Wendy & Friends offers rental décor and floral artistry. Their larger space, located at 2203 W. 4th Ave, in Kennewick in the Mid-Town Plaza, offers a 8400+ sq. foot showroom that allows them to more fully display their floral samples, arches, props, linens, containers, and invitation options as well as providing quiet meeting space to working with event planning clients. The two businesses have worked together in the past and are excited about their new storefront, which allows each to better showcase their services and supplies. With both organizations under one roof they are able to work together in a contiguous manner to more effectively meet the needs of area customers searching for professional event management services and décor items. Renae Quigley started Agapé Events in 2002. Quigley has over twenty-two years of experience coordinating social events such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, corporate events and galas and specialty school functions such as homecomings and proms. Her passion is bringing her client’s dream events to life while being respectful of budget and time. She prides herself on being a stickler for detail. “Given the tremendous number of available theme options, decisions to be made and “to-do” items that must be managed enlisting a professional events planner can be a time saver and a value for the money. I love that my clients can relax and enjoy their events because they know and trust I have their event in hand.” In addition to planning services, Agapé Events also provides catering services tailored to each customer’s theme, budget and guest list. Wendy & Friends has been providing rental décor and floral creations since 2001. Owned by Wendy Miller, the business has amassed a huge inventory of décor items including various arches, organza overlays, theme based props, and containers of every shape and size. In addition, her team also designs and crafts custom props as well as silk and fresh floral arrangements to match the event’s theme and style. “Over the years my team has provided décor for events of every type you can imagine. With our new showroom we can now provide a visual display that speaks to the versatility, creativity, and skill of my design team as well as offers a venue that shows the sheer volume of materials that customers can choose from when coordinating décor for their special occasion. Together with Agapé Events, we can now manage all aspects of an event from invitations through tear down.
